Walking quickly can save your life, and it can save the person behind you from feeling a lot of rage

A recent USA Today article reported that “Regular exercise, such as brisk walking, may be one of the best prescriptions for improving your health.” Professor Nelson of Tufts University went on to say that, “Almost nothing is easier and cheaper than walking, but many people need to pick up the pace and put some spring into their step.”

What the article didn’t mention is that if you’re not walking fast enough there is a 98% chance that you are driving the person who is walking behind you insane. This percentage increases to a 100% probability if you are on a college campus walking to class, or if you’re on a sidewalk walking anywhere.
