Tip #2: It’s okay to cry, but then you have to do something

I grew up in a family with 5 fiercely passionate sisters and an equally passionate mother. I’ve seen a lot of tears and in my book, when it comes to feeling intense emotion, it’s okay to cry. 

What I’ve learned recently though is that after the tears, some type of productive action needs to follow. What are some of the things that make you cry? A significant other that hurts your feelings? A missed opportunity at work? The realization that at XYZ age you aren’t at XYZ place? The list is endless and that’s okay.

Feel what you gotta feel, but then do what you need to do.
