Tip #23: Make things easier for someone else

I woke up this morning stressing about going back to work after such a long vacation and I was majorly in my head about all the things that are going to go wrong tomorrow.

Then my little sister said something about her nerves/stress for the upcoming Monday and as I thought of different solutions that would hopefully calm her down I learned something: When I work to help another person, my own issues become molehills instead of mountains.

This happened by accident this morning, but we can do it all the time. When you feel like your drowning in your own stress – reach out to help someone else. I’m going to be intentional about this from now on.
