Here are some quick tips:
- Clean your room – a clean space will help your life feel uncluttered even though your emotions are going crazy.
- Stay away from your phone – Playing candy crush will eventually turn into looking at old pictures of the two of you which will eventually turn into texting him which will eventually turn into calling him crying and asking to get back together. Yuck no phones.
- 45 second rule – Allow yourself to think about what he’s “probably doing right now” for only 45 seconds. Even that’s probably too long, but the principle is your brain is going to imagine he’s doing this:
Every single time you think about him. So why go there? He’s probably just sleeping, trust us.
4. Repeat the mantra that you are lovable, that any time wasted can be made right, and that soon this will be in the past.
